Tao of Today
The mark of a moderate man is freedom from his own ideas.
- Lao Tzu (Trans. Stephen Mitchell)

I am not moderate today.

Have some of my ideas, I'm over full, and they're burdening me besides.

Idea 1: When it comes to databases, I know what's best.
Idea 2: People should ask "How can I help?" at least once for every five times they step in to solve a problem.
Idea 3: I am smart, damnit.
Idea 4: I should eat the brains of people who prove to be smarter than me to (1) osmosify their knowledge (2) reduce the competition.
Current Mood: pursuing freedom

What does osmosify mean?

*there are no tasty brains here*

Alternately, osmosisisify. The process of kick starting osmosis (that is, the diffusion of a higher density of X into an area with a lower density of X until equilibrium is more-or-less achieved) with the intent of deriving benefit by being in the lesser starting position. In the case of eating brains, the net difference in the consumed brain is gradually reduced while your intellect is increased. In the case of hanging out at high society events, other peoples' thick and dense bank accounts slowly drain away into your substantially less-dense bank account.

Most brilliant people tend to be insane. Two words for you: 'Mad Cow' or 'Happy Zombie'. Either selection works.

Not to be like everybody else
Idea 4 is particularly ill conceived. Evidential data of intelligence is very hard to prove. So, if you require proof, you'll go hungry! You should change it to "people who seem, based on anecdotal evidence, to weild a knowledge set I wish to acquire"...but before I recommend that, let me ask, how can I help?

There's a scary mental image.

That idea 1 reminded me that I'd need good database solution for the
stuff i did for my PhD. So what does best recommend database wise in mobile
device? :)

I don't know, but it should run on NetBSD, which can run on anything ;)
