It's all true. The media in the US is bad, and getting worse.
1. Thank you, metkat.
2. http://www.freepress.net/news/8120

The first part goes on a bit and then it gets AMAZING. I have the attention span of a fruitfly on crack, and I was able to read through all of this because it was compelling and taught me a great deal that I did not know about the media that I SHOULD be relying on to safeguard and watchdog everything that is happening in my government right now.

Bye, bye, Freedom of Press.

If we don't act now, constantly and consistently, we look forward to reversing 229 years of religious and press freedom in this country.

It was an amazing speech. You can see it on C-Span.

I think I'm finally starting to get enough knowledge and incredulity to really have a lot of very deep respect for your political activeness. Thank you for being a responsible citizen when I wasn't, and thank you for being instrumental in me becoming one.

I am now a letter-writing, opinionated, attending protests, ACLU card carrying, MoveOn.org member American, ARRRR!

You go, girlfriend!
Gosh, thank you and you're welcome. :)

So, that's where you've been hiding. Never see you around anymore. We should hang out sometime.

Great share! Moyer is a personal hero of mine and that speech does himself justice.

Moyer is now also one of my personal heroes.

Did you know that there is a Taoist Studies Institute on Greenwood? I was wandering aimlessly (from 39th to 90th along Greenwood, my calves rock) and found the sign for it in front of a Presbyterian Church.
