Mukhtar Mai's Blog - Women's History in Progress  
The BBC has been working with Mukhtar Mai (Mukhtaran Bibi) to publish a blog about women's issues in Pakistan. Mukhtar Mai is the woman who earned international recognition when she fought back within the legal system after being gang raped at the command of a tribal council in punishment for something her 12-year-old brother did, instead of committing suicide.

She began two schools for girls in Punjab, Pakistan with the money she earned from the court battle.
