Presidential Candidates - Queer Issues
Live Debate Tonight on queer issues.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6916323.stm (details)

The debate will be broadcast on cable network Logo at 2100 ET/1800 PT on 9 August and streamed live on the internet at http://www.LOGOonline.com.

We live, in my opinion, in better times thanks to the efforts of civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr. and even crazy drunks like Dorothy Parker. The improved civil rights of all people, regardless of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, ability, etc. is what will continue to fuel my patriotism for the United States. Despite the recent setbacks in privacy, racial profiling and other unfortunate war-time-induced fear-based nonsense, I still believe that my country is ultimately trending towards a worthy vision of equal rights.

No, these are straight people talking about gays as opposed to gays bashing gays and blacks.

Now to wait for the first openly hispanic kinky pre-op transexual candidate for President.
