Tao of the Day (I liked this one better)
The problems of humanity are not metaphysical. They are personal.

Damnation is in you. So too is salvation. You are the prince of darkness. You are also the prince of light. Neither can be cast out of yourself. The valiant coping with that dichotomy is the poignancy of this existence.

My Tao of the Day.

The purpose of hero is not only to fight for what is right, but to be visibly at the ready, so that the fight never begins. Heroic acts are only valuable when fused with heroic vigilance.

I like the first part, but the second part is striking me strange.

I'm going to think about it.

I agree.
The first line if spot on. I'm not quite sure what the second one is trying to convey.

"You are the prince of darkness."

*puts on his engineer hat and starts his crazy train*
All aboard! Wooo Wooo.

I like both, actually.
I really liked the first one, but this one is really cool, too. Think I'll add "Prince of Darkness and Light" to my list of titles... (Right after "Lord of the Dance". ;)

Kim, thanks for that Tao of the Day. I needed that reminder.

:)
