Is the situation bad in computer industry in US? I just got the recent results of our poll on our graduated students and 99% of them are employed in industry. Software industry seems to be the only area where the recession is not showing that badly.

I was in St Petersburg just while ago and they said on the area there is a need for 20000 coders right away. Thus we are making co-operation in education with them.

Me, i have two years of my contract left, though I was asked to get to work at Helsinki. Have to think what to do in fe months.

I am a self-employed contractor with one ongoing contract. I suppose you might call it a "not-a-job". :) Work is pretty busy - maybe not as busy as last year but still decent.
