Purple Day is nigh
Tomorrow is Purple Day!

What is Purple Day?

On May 18th,
1. Wear purple
2. Send us a photo
3. Send us a quote about something you've done to help the environment in the last year

If we get enough photos, we'll send a photo album to the kids at Hastings with Green Ideas from Purple People :)

I love my job!

That is such a cool idea!

I so love it. I'm hoping that next year, A & I will have enough revenue from The Purple Store that we can maybe talk to one of the local schools and give the kids some kind of purple something to add non-profit fundraising to the agenda. That might be a few years off though. I'm so impressed that they've kept the tradition going for so long. It really drives the point home for me - that thinking globally and acting locally has a huge payoff with time and consistence. Whooya.

Also, I think you should make more angry feminist posts. I like them. And, perhaps I just speak for me, but when some big policy change comes up in the military, I keep a closer eye on your LiveJournal, even if I'm not actively participating in LJ at all. According to me, you're, like, one of the gawf ambassadors to the US militia, and you've earned all of your opinions.

The problem is I know I tend to piss in everybodies wheaties when I go off, even feminists.

I just want to say I miss you.

Re: Unrelated.
Shabbat shalom, beautiful. I miss you too and have had very good intentions about surprising you (not in a stressful way) for several weeks and don't ask because I'll tell you because I'm a complete blabber mouth about surprises. I've been repeatedly defeated by a surprise attack of procrastination, which not often hit me this hard.
