Talking about it is almost as good.

Study indicating women who talk about their cravings of chocolate more, eat less of it.
Men who talk about their cravings of chocolate more, eat more of it.

Kind of an anecdotal small-sample experiment, but still - funny results.

I really want chocolate right now. Maybe a B&O Espresso Chocolate Pot or a Trader Joe's dark chocolate truffle. Mmm. Hmm, the Hershey's miniature dark specials are nice too.

... maybe I'm a guy. I wasn't planning on having any chocolate until I started talking about it. I'll report back with findings about my chocolate consumption at the end of the day. :>

I don't talk about, or think about it much.

But at almost exactly 3pm every workday (not weekends!) I'm overcome by the craving. Chocolate. Now. Or no more work will be done.

That makes total sense to me. 3pm is right around brain whir down white noise time for me, and some kind of sugar or caffeine gives me that final boost to get me to 5-6 or whatever my end time is for the day.

My body is ideally suited to work about 6 hours per day.

Anything else seems to require artificial boosts, extra walking around the building to increase circulation, etc.
