I think I've only read the Feynmann book.

Books I recommend that are fresh in my mind:

The Origin of Wealth
Typecasting: On the Arts & Sciences of Human Inequality
Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell (only if you like long reads with gorgeous language and good characters)

I've read the Feynman you cite, and I highly recommend it.

My recommendation usually goes something like: "If Feynman's enthusiasm for finding out how things work doesn't infect you, then you're probably pretty much beyond my reach, with anything I might say."
